'Cosby Show' star booted from Celeb Apprentice for not calling Cosby

That awkward moment.

Lil' Rudy -- who, obviously, isn't so little anymore -- got the ax during last night's "Celebrity Apprentice" broadcast after she failed to call in Bill Cosby for a favor.

The 411: Keshia Knight Pulliam (aka, Rudy) was tasked with the project manager role for her group's challenge, which, in a stroke of television-programming originality, involved raising money for a bake sale. Naturally, her fellow group members nudged her to call up Bill Cosby -- because, "The Cosby Show."

... But she didn't do it.

Worth noting, is that this was filmed nearly a year ago; so, this was pre-Cosby Apocalypse. Whether The Donald would have actually fired her had this happened, say, last month, will forever be a mystery.

The play-out in the board room was nothing if not heartbreaking.

Following a Kleenex pat-down of her face for tears:

"I have not talked to Bill Cosby on the phone in I don't know how long. So, for me to pick up the phone, having not talked to you for five years, except for when we run into each other for a Cosby event -- I feel that's not my place to do."

Then Donald Trump proceeds to refer to Cosby as a "tremendous guy," pivoting the moment from sad to ... well, awkward.
