United By Blue is a brand with an environmentally conscious mission: maintaining clean oceans and waterways. Every product sold in the Old City flagship store supports organized cleanups. The store hosts workshops as well that teach attendees eco-friendly lessons.

On March 24 United By Blue will teach a class on creating flower seed bombs. The bombs are made from clay, compost or potting soil and seeds. Drop the small ball into a planter or a dirt patch and just add water.

The easy way to grow a garden will be taught by Green Philly Blog co-founder Julie Hancher. Tips and tricks on how to live a sustainable lifestyle will also be shared during the workshop.
