Pinefish will host a Deadhead Dinner on May 8 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Grateful Dead's historic show at Cornell University in 1977.
"[It] has been called the band's most famous concert ever," according to a press release.
Whether you agree or disagree, all Deadheads acknowledge 1977 as a great year for the band.
The dinner at Pinefish will feature a themed menu and a live recording from the May 8, 1977, landmark show.
"This [40th anniversary] milestone is a big deal to many Grateful Dead fans, and the band is releasing a huge box set a few days before the anniversary, so we decided to have a little fun with it," restaurateur Peter Dissin stated.
Attendees will enjoy a prix-fixe three-course meal.
The Grateful Dead-themed menu includes dishes like "Mind Left Brussels Sprouts," "Shakedown Shrimp," "Salmon & Delilah," "Brokedown Scallops," "Here Comes Sirloin," "Minglewood Stew" and "New Speedway Brisket," among others.
Guests can take home the specialty-designed menu as a keepsake of the night.
Reservations are required for the 6:30 p.m. Deadhead Dinner, which will cost $29.95 per person.
