Devon Still cut by Bengals

Daughter's fight with cancer has inspired many

New Jersey native and Penn State alumni Devon Still has been cut by the Cincinnati Bengals, according to ESPN

Still, a defensive tackle who spent three seasons with the team, is now a free agent.

His daughter, Leah Still, gained national attention last year after she was diagnosed with a rare form of pediatric cancer.

Still documented her battle with the disease on social media, providing fans with updates on her status.

She was told in June that she could leave the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia after previously suffering a setback in her treatment.

The Stills have raised more than a million dollars during the past year for cancer research and awareness.

For their efforts, the two received an ESPY award and Leah, 5, was recently featured on the cover of a Wheaties box.
