The day's activities will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will include an Egyptian-themed scavenger hunt.

Other exciting activities include a hieroglyphs class, a trivia game on Egyptian gods and a belly-dancing workshop.

The day will combine fun with learning, as well.

Listen in on the lecture “American Travellers on the Nile: Early US Visitors in Egypt, 1774-1839” with art historian Andrew Oliver. Hear excerpts from the book “The Sphinx That Traveled to Philadelphia: The Story of the Colossal Sphinx in the Penn Museum." Take a tour through the Egyptian galleries and talk with senior archivist Alex Pezzati.
