The Eagles announced that the have signed yet another Bills defender who played under Jim Schwartz in Buffalo. This time, it's cornerback Ron Brooks, who agreed to a three-year deal. Earlier today, the Eagles signed former Bills LB Nigel Bradham; yesterday they signed CB Leodis McKelvin.

Brooks (5'10, 190) is known as a physical defensive back who is also a quality special teams player. Over the last two seasons, Brooks has 18 special teams tackles. Here he is destroying a poor Patriots tight end:

In his four-year career, Brooks has a grand total of zero INTs, forced fumbles, sacks, and fumble recoveries, so he's not exactly Charles Woodson. However, he along with newly signed safety Rodney McLeod bring a physical presence to an Eagles secondary that has lacked one in recent years.

Brooks was a fourth-round pick in 2012, and he'll turn 28 in October.
