Jason Peters will give it another go this week while nursing his quad injury.

The Eagles released their inactives against the Saints. The biggest news is that Jason Peters will play. Last week, Peters had to leave the game against Washington when he re-aggrivated his quad. Here is the full list of Eagles and Saints inactives:

Eagles inactives

• ILB Kiko Alonso (knee): Alonso will be out for about a month. The Eagles have gotten fantastic play out of rookie ILB Jordan Hicks in Alonso's absence.

• ILB Mychal Kendricks: With Kendricks and Alonso out, as noted, the Eagles are in capable hands with DeMeco Ryans and Jordan Hicks in reserve. Kendricks was questionable this time last week.

DE Brandon Bair (groin): Bair has played well in a reserve role for the Eagles. He goes out just as Taylor Hart is getting healthy (or healthier than he was, anyway).

• OL Julian Vandervelde: The oft-released one.

• RB Kenjon Barner: The Eagles are one again fully healthy at RB, with DeMarco Murray, Ryan Mathews, and Darren Sproles all good to go.

• CB Denzel Rice: Rice lands back on the inactive list with S Chris Maragos ready to go.

• QB Thad Lewis: Lewis takes over for Stephen Morris in the "Matt Barkley inactive #3 QB" role.

Saints inactives

• OT Terron Armstead

• OG Jahri Evans

• P Thomas Morstead

• QB Garrett Grayson

• FB Austin Johnson

• DE Obum Gwacham

• DE Bobby Richardson

The two major players of note are All Pro LG Jahri Evans and LT Terron Armstead, who are both out with injuries. Armstead is an extremely athletic left tackle who shut down Trent Cole in the Eagles-Saints playoff game after the 2013 season. Andrus Peat will start in his place. Meanwhile, Evans is among the best guards in the game. Senio Kelemete will start for Evans. The Saints will be missing the left side of their line.
