"The Greatest Show on Earth," Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey's circus act, heads to the Wells Fargo Center Wednesday, Feb. 11, through Monday, Feb. 16. The iconic group has revamped the performances by mixing in contemporary acts with traditional circus routines for a fun-filled, family-friendly event.

Known as "Circus XTREME," this new show touring the country is led by ringmaster David Shipman with the help of his friends Alex and Irina. "Circus XTREME" acts include big cat trainer Taba Maluenda; high-wire act Danguir Troupe; Gemma Kirby the human cannonball; the Angelic Aerialists and the Desert Goddesses, an all-female camel-riding troupe. A freestyle sports act including BMX riders, slackliners, free-running tumblers, parkour artists and acrobats will wow audience members of all ages.

The All-Access Pre-Show, free with all ticket purchases, lets audience members get up close and personal with the performers. Hang out with clowns, try on costumes and make an attempt at juggling before heading under the big top for the main attraction. If you've never been to the circus, this exciting show should be a wonderful introduction.
