Historic district hosts free shopping events

Friday, April 24, is set to be a nice spring night, making it perfect for a little shopping. Local businesses along 4th and South streets and the historic Fabric Row will celebrate with special sales and free events in honor of 4th Friday Spring Edition.

BUS STOP is marking its 8th birthday with a special gift card sale. Shoppers who spend more than $100 on shoes will get $25 to use on their next visit. 

Juju Salon & Organics, Paradigm Gallery + Studio and Red Hook Coffee and Tea take the night to celebrate art openings. Juju will show the works of Miriam Dretler, Sarah Louise Davey and Nicomi Nix Turner will display their pieces at Paradigm, and new art by Leah Meyers will fill Red Hook. 

Urban Princess Boutique will have a sidewalk sale featuring 10-50 percent off gifts storewide plus light fare, while Wilbur Vintage & Designer Clothing will have a 20 percent off sale storewide plus cocktails to sip.
