FDA issues warning for cumin spices

Some products possibly contaminated with peanuts

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a warning for people who have peanut allergies and eat anything that contains ground cumin spices.


According to the FDA, a number of products containing cumin were recalled due to a possible peanut contamination. Recalled products include Goya brand beans and bean soup, various Cajun seasonings and La Flor products.
