GACC holds inaugural networking 'biergarten'

Authentic German beer event open to the public

It's not a classic German celebration without traditional food and music.

The German American Chambers of Commerce is hosting its First Annual Biergarten on Thursday, August 20. For one night, the Headhouse Square Shambles will be filled with authentic German food, music and, of course, beer.

This event is all about networking, but you don't have to be a GACC member to attend. Anyone can partake in the traditional German atmosphere. The Happy Polkateers will provide tunes to give the Shambles the feel of a small German town. Brauhaus Schmitz is providing the bretzeln (pretzels) and beer, and The Flying Deutschman is bringing along classic wurst.

Need another reason to feel German for the night? The first 75 registrants get a GACC pilsner glass with their ticket purchase.
