Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown is hosting gingerbread house workshops this December.
Chestnut Hill's famed Bredenbeck's Bakery will provide the sweet ingredients needed to construct whimsical cookie cottages.
There will be all-ages, family-friendly workshops, as well as adults-only workshops for the 21-plus crowd. Refreshments and cocktails will be available for purchase.

Attendees can look forward to holiday music and, since the workshops are at the zoo, a meet-and-greet with one of the zoo's educational animals. Be on the look out for Santa, too, who will make an appearance for one hour during each workshop.

Pricing is $45 per person for a 12-inch gingerbread house. Two people can decorate a house together for $65 total, or four people can share a house for $25 per person.
Children 2 and under can join in the festivities for free. Tickets can be purchased here.
