2017 is off to a great start with news that the Girl Scouts have added a brand-new s'mores-flavored cookie to their 2017 selling season.

According to the local chapter's website, the s'mores cookie is a square-shaped, chocolate-coated graham cracker-esque cookie with a crème icing filling, that last part presumably meant to represent the iconic treat's marshmallow center.

The new flavor is being launched as part of the organization's centennial celebration, and customers can get their hands on a box for $4 each. All of the other traditional favorites will also return for sale.

The Girl Scouts' 2017 cookie selling season will kick off later this month. Click here to find a list of local selling sites and dates.
