Governor Tom Wolf will host a social media town hall to discuss Pennsylvania's opioid crisis.

Users will be able to ask questions on Facebook Live that Gov. Wolf, Department of Human Services Secretary Ted Dallas, Physician General Dr. Rachel Levine, Department of Health Secretary Karen Murphy and Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs Secretary Gary Tennis will answer, beginning at 4 p.m. on Monday.
The Wolf Administration recently made 23 stops across the state and another stop at the White House to advocate for $34 million to fight the opioid crisis.
Gov. Wolf announced last week that more than 1,000 victims of opioid overdoses have been saved by police officers in the state since November 2014.
The state made Narcan, a life-saving medication that blocks the effects of opioids, available to police in April 2015.
In 2014, nearly 2,500 deaths were caused by overdose in the state, according to the Pennsylvania Coroners Association.
