July is National Ice Cream Month, which makes sense because a frozen treat is one of the best ways to beat the heat.
To celebrate, Gran Caffe L'Aquila will offer free gelato samples on Saturday, July 15.

Out front of the Chestnut Street restaurant, from noon to 4 p.m., grab a sample of a new flavor. The Cheesecake alla Fragola is made with creamy homemade cheesecake infused with fresh strawberries.
It is Gran Caffe L'Aquila's first American-inspired flavor.
