OK, so you're single -- heck, maybe even heartbroken -- this Valentine's Day. That doesn't mean you can't celebrate.

What better way to deal with a day designated for love than by drinking at a spot where you're likely to find it?

We've already pegged some of the top spots for singles in the city and laid out some possible plans if you're less than interested in the holiday.

Here, we'll take a look at some more watering holes that are ideal for seeking a significant other (or a passing fling) in Philly.

Bob & Barbara's

1509 South St.

Known as the birthplace of the Citywide Special, this South Street bar is also a great singles hangout. Live jazz music frequently entertains patrons, setting a sultry mood, and it's often filled with a mix of 20-somethings, students and regulars. Plus, knocking back a few Citywides will probably loosen you up a bit to test the waters.

The Barbary

951 Frankford Ave.

Dancing = icebreaker. You may already know The Barbary for its Monday night dance party, dubbed Tigerbeats, but it also has a full calendar each month of different parties and shows, including everything from an emo-themed night to karaoke. You may be saying to yourself, "but I'm a terrible dancer, how will I meet anyone?" Again, the answer lies in the mystical Citywide Special, which The Barbary serves.

The Trestle Inn

339 N. 11th St.

A bar so delightfully odd you're doing something wrong if you're bored -- that's The Trestle. Go Go Dancers, a separate dance floor and a number of whiskeys to choose from set the stage for chance encounters. It's been called one of the naughtiest spots to go to in the city. What more could you ask for?

Howl at the Moon

258 S. 15th St.

The wide-open layout at Howl may not pass Jon Taffer's "Butt Funnel" criteria, but this live music bar is the perfect place to bump into a potentially special someone. What better way to ease the tension than by sharing a giant bucket of cocktails? Yes, Howl at the Moon actually serves giant buckets of booze meant for more than one. Be warned: On weekends, the line to get in gets very long very quickly. You're going to want to get there relatively early.
