The great Guy Fieri restaurant hoax of 2016 swept into Asbury Park this week, nearly convincing many New Jerseyans that the Food Network star was preparing to open up shop in the lively seaside town. A few locals played along, but it was eventually revealed that someone simply created a fake website copying Fieri's official page.

The new Fieri restaurant coming to Harrah's Philadelphia casino in Chester is not a prank, however, although the goodness of that news depends on your personal view of the reality restaurateur.

According to the casino, Guy Fieri's Philly Kitchen + Bar will open at Harrah's in November.

Menu items will feature "daring flavors and unique twists on traditional dishes," including Fieri's interpretation of the Philly cheesesteak and a bacon mac-n-cheese burger.

Beverages will consist of a California-influenced wine list, signature cocktails and craft beers.

Fieri's Chophouse restaurant in Atlantic City has gotten solid reviews from patrons, so the Philly-themed restaurant in a casino setting could be poised to do equally well.
