Hotline launched for businesses with pope visit questions

City's Office of Business Managers will be available to help

The city's Office of Business Services launched a hotline at 1 p.m. on Monday for businesses that have questions about what to do during the Pope's visit to Philadelphia in late September.

Businesses can call 215-683-2100 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays or email business@phila.gov. There will also be information posted on phila.gov/informationcenters/pope.

"A dedicated team from the Office of Business Services (OBS) will be on hand at the Business Resource Center to provide information, answer questions and respond to emails and voicemails as quickly as possible," the city said in a statement.

Mayor Michael Nutter said during a press conference Thursday that businesses should plan to get all the deliveries they need by Friday. However, there is a plan in the works to allow limited deliveries Saturday night at certain drop-off locations.
