Just four weeks after a female student was killed in an assault at Howard High School of Technology in Wilmington, Delaware, another Howard student has died.

Wilmington police told CBSPhilly that a 15-year-old male student was shot around 3:20 p.m. Thursday on the 900 block of Clifford Brown Walk - just blocks away from the high school he attended as a ninth-grader.

The student, who hasn’t been identified, was taken to Christiana Hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Howard High School released a statement Thursday that said counselors and support staff would be available at the school Friday.

The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to call Detective McKenzie Kirlin at 302-576-3653 or the department’s Homicide Hotline at 302-576-3939. Police said information leading to an arrest and conviction could lead to a $10,000 reward.

The 15-year-old's death comes as the school is still mourning 16-year-old Amy Joyner-Francis, who died on April 21 following a fight at the school. Three other female students have been charged in that incident.
