Howie Roseman non-committal on Jason Kelce's return

A couple weeks ago, PhillyVoice reported that the Eagles were considering moving on from now Pro Bowl center Jason Kelce this offseason. On Wednesday, Howie Roseman was asked if Kelce would return to the Eagles in 2017.

"I think we'd like to have every single person back on our team, but we just talked about a guy who made the Pro Bowl," said Roseman. "Those are good situations for the Philadelphia Eagles, to have Pro Bowl players, but it's hard to go into each individual player. I'm not saying as it relates to Kelce, but if I start answering questions on Jason Kelce, that opens the door to five or six other guys and I don't think that's fair to anyone on our team."

The last time Roseman spoke to Eagles media, on January 4, he was asked if Jason Peters would be back.

"We started this press conference talking about Brian Dawkins," he said. "I have no doubt at some point we'll be saying the same thing about Jason Peters. He has really ingrained himself as a leader of this football team. Anyone who watched us play saw the impact he has on the game. We certainly want to have him back."

I think you can see the difference in those two quotes.

The Eagles are expected to free up a significant amount of cap space soon, a source told PhillyVoice.
