It's National Cat Day: To celebrate, Uber will deliver kittens to Philly workplaces for playdates

All proceeds to benefit the Pennsylvania SPCA

It’s National Cat Day – yes, that’s a thing – and to celebrate, Uber and the Pennsylvania SPCA have teamed up to deliver adorable and adoptable kittens to workplaces throughout the city for a 15-minute playdate.

To schedule a kitten cuddle session from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, just pull up the Uber app on your phone and slide over to "KITTENS." The cost is $30, and all proceeds will benefit the Pennsylvania SPCA.

The kitties can be delivered to workplaces throughout the city, but no private residences, the Pennsylvania SPCA said.

If 15 minutes just isn’t enough time, all of the cats are also eligible for adoption at the Pennsylvania SPCA Fishtown location at 1546 Frankford Ave.
