Jason Kelce, Lane Johnson have harsh words for Greg Hardy after Eagles’ win

After the Eagles’ 33-27 overtime win over the Dallas Cowboys, the conversation shifted back to who everyone was talking about before the game: Greg Hardy.

Hardy, an All-Pro talent who was initially found guilty of assaulting his girlfriend (the charges were eventually dropped), had his NFL suspension reduced from ten to four games after signing with Dallas in the offseason. A banged-up Eagles line did a solid job against Hardy on Sunday Night Football, limiting him to one sack and three tackles.

Finished with going head-to-head against him in the trenches, some of the Eagles’ offensive linemen made their feelings on Hardy clear. Here’s center Jason Kelce, via the Daily News’ Marcus Hayes:

And left tackle Lane Johnson, from the Inquirer’s Jeff McLane:

Also following the game, Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett had this to say about Hardy (from Susy Solis):

Well, I can think of one way that you won’t have to talk about him. The Eagles and Chip Kelly clearly have a different philosophy when it comes to character than Jerry Jones and the Cowboys. Hardy is unquestionably a great talent, but you are also signing on for much more than his on-field performance when acquiring him.
