King of Prussia-based company Quench is introducing a new appliance: Quench 525, a cooler that creates chilled, sparkling water on demand.

"More and more of our customers are requesting sparkling water, and we believe the Quench 525 is a terrific solution for those who want it on demand," said Todd Peterson, Quench's Chief Operating Officer. "We think it will be a popular choice for office, breakroom, showroom, and hospitality settings."

The appliance is available in both free-standing and countertop models. The company is marketing it as a more cost-effective alternative to buying bottled sparkling water.

Quench sells filtered water coolers, ice machines and coffee brewers nationwide. It is a subsidiary of AquaVenture Holdings.
