First came the news of Lady Gaga's Valentine's Day engagement to "Chicago Fire" actor Taylor Kinney via her Instagram account.
Now the star has announced via Twitter that she will star in the fifth season of FX's "American Horror Story."
While Gaga did not give details about her character, she did reveal the title in her announcement: “Hotel.”
“It always just comes down to pure fandom with me,” producer Ryan Murphy told Variety about his recruitment of top talent to the series, including Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates and Michael Chiklis. “I just speak from the heart about why I love them.”
Season 5 will premiere this October.
