Philly restaurants serve versions of the traditional potato pancake at Latkepalooza

The event is now in its 14th year

For the 14th year, the potato pancake will be celebrated at Latkepalooza. Enjoy gourmet versions of the Hanukkah delicacy on Dec. 18. Fans of fried food won't be disappointed.

Several local restaurants will be serving their best latkes.

• Circles Thai
• Estia
• Frankford Hall
• Jones
• Kanella
• Mission Taqueria
• Sabrina's Cafe
• Tria Taproom

Federal Donuts will be bringing back its sufganiyot (jelly-filled donuts), too.

Tickets for adults are $20; they are $15 for children ages 2-12. Adults get 10 latkes, kids get seven, and infants under age 2 get three. The event has sold out in past years, so reserve a spot.
