Fairmount Park's Woodford Mansion is celebrating Women's History Month with a special tour. The historic home, which is more than 250 years old, features a collection of artwork, furnishings and antiques from the 18th and 19th centuries.

The preserved Colonial-era artifacts will be on view from Tuesday, March 22, through Sunday, March 26.

Many of the items are from Naomi Wood. In 1927, her collection of Colonial "household gear" was moved into Woodford to be displayed.

While looking at the historic items, attendees will learn about the lives and legacies of the women of Woodford from an informative tour guide.

Tickets for the tour are $8 for adults or $5 for seniors, students and youths (ages 13-17).
