The visitors center in LOVE Park, nicknamed the "Spaceship," could be turned into a restaurant.

CBSPhilly reports that officials are looking for extra revenue to support the center and have asked restaurant owners to submit proposals.

"A restaurant at LOVE Park has incredible potential to generate revenue for the site, which we will then put back into maintenance and programming," Kathryn Lovell, of the Fairmount Park Conservancy, told CBSPhilly.

The building needs $3 million in renovations and updates because "it's like the 1960s in there, man," she said.

If it works out, the spaceship restaurant would launch in 2017.
