An investigation is underway after police found the bodies of two people inside a motel room in the Rhawnhurst section of Northeast Philadelphia.
Police found the victims Sunday around 12:30 p.m. inside a room at the Roosevelt Motor Inn located on the 7600 block of Roosevelt Boulevard.
The victims were found with their hands tied behind their backs and with plastic bags over their heads. Investigators have determined the deaths to be a double homicide.
Medical personnel pronounced the victims dead at the scene.
No arrests have been reported and the identities of the victims have not been disclosed.
