WATCH: Michael Carter-Williams hits cameraman with first pitch

Ever since the Sixers drafted Michael Carter-Williams in June 2013, we fretted about his jumper. After a year and a half of sub-27 percent three-point shooting, he was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks despite winning Rookie of the Year in 2013-14. The Sixers decided that they would rather have a potential top draft pick that is yet to convey.

Whether or not MCW improves his jumper will largely determine how his basketball career goes. For now, it seems that his problem of hitting a target from distance has transferred to the baseball diamond:

As long as the camera isn’t broken, the footage should be excellent. And in MCW’s defense, this shouldn’t qualify for any “worst first pitch ever” discussions. It’s memorable because he hit the camera, but the pitch itself wasn’t too bad. If anything, a fastball just got away from him a little bit. MCW’s wild pitch doesn’t even touch the efforts from 50 Cent, Baba Booey, and former mayor of Cincinnati Mark Mallory, just to name a few.

As it turns out, MCW feels the same way about his pitch:
