An impressive array of rootsy rock and country talent will convene on Montage Mountain (which Google insists is a real mountain in Scranton) on Sept. 18.

The occasion is The first (annual?) Outlaw Music Festival. So far Willie Nelson & Family, Neil Young + Promise of the Real, Sheryl Crow, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Lee Ann Womack and the Brothers Osborne have all signed on, with more artists to be announced later.

The official show announcement promises local food and beer in a “picturesque setting.” RV parking will be available for the night before the one-day festival. Tickets go on sale Friday, July 29, 10 a.m.
