Franklin Square will begin its holiday season on Nov. 10. This year, attendees can look forward to added entertainment at the Holiday Festival.

Look for entertainment like the Electrical Spectacle Holiday Light Show presented by PECO, Santa Saturdays where kids can drop off letters, Seasonal Sounds on Sundays with live music, Lightning Bolt Holiday Express train rides through the Square for kids, a new Hanukkah celebration, character nights with favorites from "Star Wars" and "Frozen" and selfie stations with mistletoe and other holiday props.

This year, Ben's Sweets & Treats will be open. Guests will be able to watch homemade fudge created on-site, decorate freshly baked cookies, watch doughnut making and master gingerbread house building.

For the 21-plus crowd, the Winter Beer Garden will again be open on weekends. More fire pits have been added this year to accommodate guests. Local craft beers, wine and specialty cocktails will be presented by Cooperage.

Cooperage's SquareBurger will also be open during the Holiday Festival. Make sure to check out the signature Cake Shake blended with Tastykake Butterscotch Krimpets, along with the burgers and fries.

The Franklin Square Holiday Festival will run through the end of December.
