A new exhibit is opening at the Academy of Natural Sciences on Saturday, Feb. 4. "Frogs: A Chorus of Colors" recreates frogs' habitats with plants, waterfalls and rock ledges.

Visitors are invited to view live frogs from around the world, to see how they swim, hop, glide and soar. They live in almost every environment, from tropical forests to frozen tundras to the backyard.

Expect to see more than just green amphibians in the exhibit. Look for radiant blue and fiery red frogs.

Many might be surprised to learn that some frogs can grow as large as a human infant or that there is a frog that carries enough poison to kill 10 people.

While exploring the exhibit, visitors will have a chance to create a nighttime frog chorus, spin a zoetrope to see how a frog jumps and conduct a virtual frog dissection, too.

Those who visit during "Froguary" weekends can enjoy add-ons like arts & crafts, storytime and interactive stations.

Tickets to "Frogs: A Chorus of Colors" are $3-$5, after general museum admission fees.
