The Philadelphia Eagles won't be participating in the upcoming NFL playoffs, but one U.S. Air Force veteran from Riverside, New Jersey, will be watching the postseason very closely after he was selected among five finalists to attend Super Bowl 50 at Levi's Stadium in San Francisco.

Felix Agosto, founder of the nonprofit MVP360, was one of more than 3,500 people to enter the "Together We Make Football" competition, a campaign between the NFL and NBC that invites fans to share their stories about what football means to them and how it has inspired them.

After Agosto moved off base, he was inspired by his son, Felix Jr., to create a sports-driven network where young people could learn important skills like overcoming obstacles, never giving up and following through on commitments. Guided by a philosophy of cultivating skills, teamwork and character, MVP360 provides leadership development and community programs in the greater Philadelphia area.

In a segment on the Today show, Agosto explains how MVP360 specifically aims to teach these skills to kids who may not be naturally drawn to athletics.

With production help from Felix Jr., Agosto regularly posts videos of MVP360's athletic and community events, including its successful flag football program, which has been credited with uniting families from various backgrounds and neighborhoods.

At the conclusion of the 2015 "Together We Make Football" campaign, NFL Films will run a one-hour special, "Football America: Our Families," which airs January 16 on NBC at 2:30 p.m. EST.
