A new department store in King of Prussia plans to hire nearly 500 full-time and part-time workers, plus seasonal hires.

Primark plans to open at 11 a.m. on Nov. 25 in the Plaza at King of Prussia, taking the place of Sears, and it needs 220 full-time workers and 270 part-timers, Philly.com reported.

The Irish clothing company opened its first American store last month, plus a distribution center in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. It also has plans for six more stores in the Northeast: Danbury, Connecticut; Willow Grove, Pennsylvania; Freehold, New Jersey; Braintree, Massachusetts; Staten Island, New York and Burlington, Massachusetts.

“Primark’s extensive product offerings and ability to rapidly restock merchandise through our nearby distribution depot, conveniently located in Bethlehem, helps ensure our customer commitment of an easy, caring and fun experience during the holidays and beyond," said Primark U.S. president Jose Louis Martinez de Larramendi in a statement.

Martinez also told Philly.com that the store, over 80,000 square feet in size, will have 93 fitting rooms in order to encourage high customer volume.
