September ended with a punk flourish at PhilaMOCA with a superb three-band bill.

All Dogs lead singer/guitarist Maryn Jones took her new hometown crowd — she moved to Philadelphia recently — on a rock journey with 2015 release “Kicking Every Day” providing a lot of the backbone of their set. Angular and catchy, they are deserving of the buzz around them.

Philly’s own Mannequin Pussy rocketed through a thrashing, crushing set. Marisa Dabice and co. have got to be one of the best live bands in the city.

Cara Beth Satalino and the rest of Outer Spaces started the night off with sometimes calming, sometimes elusive rock. Playing behind their 2016 release “A Shedding Snake,” the Baltimore band earned some new fans on this night.
