Pa. girl kicked out of prom will appear on 'It's Always Sunny'

Cast confirms Harrisburg junior will make appearance

The Pennsylvania teenager who was booted from her prom because she wore a suit will, in fact, appear on "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia."

In May, show creator and star Rob McElhenney asked Aniya Wolf, a junior at Bishop McDevitt High School in Harrisburg who said she is a lesbian, if she wanted to come on the show after she said she was kicked out of the school dance for defying a dress code that required she wear a formal dress.

Wolf thought he was kidding at first, but McElhenny assured her he wasn't.

McElhenny, along with the rest of the gang from the FXX show confirmed to "Entertainment Tonight" recently that Wolf would, in fact, be featured on the upcoming season. Per ET:

“I liked the suit! I thought the suit was classy,” McElhenney told ET. “I feel like we need a little more class on the show, so we offered to have her come on the show and wear the suit.”

“We go to Philly in a couple weeks and we're going to meet her there, and we're really excited,” said Kaitlin Olson, “and I'm excited to see her suit!”

“Instead of just the kids in the school being able to see the suit, I’d like the whole nation to get to see it,” added McElhenney.

“We embrace everybody,” said Danny DeVito. “Doesn't matter if you're wearing a tuxedo, jockey shorts, underwear, you don't wear underwear... What's the big deal? We're people!”

The ET report doesn't reveal any details about the episode Wolf will appear on, but if it's anything like the last time the gang went to prom, it should be a good one.
