Parkland survivors take to social media after latest school shooting in Texas

This is what the students from Marjorie Stoneman Douglas had to say about the news today

Survivors of the Parkland, Florida shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School are responding to the latest shooting in Sante Fe, Texas and their response is overwhelming: enough prayers, more action.

Their responses are coming a few hours after an active shooter went into a high school in Santa Fe and shot 10 people dead, and left 10 more injured.

Many Parkland shooting survivors were preparing for graduation when the news broke of the latest shooting — a disturbing addition to a 2018 pattern of one shooting per week.

Marjory Stoneman Douglas students like Emma González have now become recognizable faces in the gun control debate in the U.S. They've been to Congress, organized marches and called others to join their cause.
