With a few months to go until their classic, terrifying Halloween experience, Eastern State Penitentiary's Terror Behind the Walls is opening the gates to fans for two special nights. Friday, May 15, and Saturday, May 16, adventurous guests can take part in "Party at the Pen: The Masquerade."

Guests are encouraged to get dolled up in cocktail attire and a mask and mingle with mysterious strangers. Admission includes libations and light fare, as well as live entertainment. DJ EZ Almighty and DJ Scopitone will provide the music. Blacklight, mask and dance theater company ArcheDream for HUMANKIND will put on a special show, too.

Some of the penitentiary's usually off-limits halls will be open for the masquerade. Attendees can feel free to do a little exploring, if they dare.
