This season, the Pennsylvania Ballet will premiere Angel Corella’s restaging of the masterpiece, “La Bayadère.” In Royal India, a temple dancer (bayadère) called Nikiya, is loved by Solor, a noble warrior. When the two young lovers are kept apart, can their passion conquer all?

This visually stunning work, including mesmerizing Kingdom of Shades scene – featuring 24 dancers in perfect unison – is the pinnacle of the art form. This moving love story, with music performed live by the Pennsylvania Ballet Orchestra, can’t be missed.
