The fifth annual Petapalooza will take place Sunday, July 8, in Chestnut Hill. At the pet-friendly festival on Germantown Avenue, there will be activities for both animals and owners.

Pets can visit a paw reader (like a palm reader), or pose for a caricature. Humans can check out dog training exhibitions, meet with on-site veterinarians, shop pet service booths and connect with pet rescue organizations.

There will be a petting zoo, music, arts & crafts and a photo booth on the avenue, too. Also, the Woodmere Art Museum will offer pet-friendly, outdoor tours of the grounds and sculpture garden.

Petapalooza will run noon to 3 p.m., then "yappy" hour will begin at local restaurants.

From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., there will be pet-friendly specials at Chestnut Grill & Sidewalk Cafe, El Poquito, Cosimo’s Pizza, Paris Bistro, Campbell’s Place and Chestnut Hill Brewing Co.
