Philadelphia is home to countless innovators and entrepreneurs -- people who are solving problems while driving industries, inspiring change, and empowering communities. OnUp Media is set to share the stories of these diverse changemakers this month when it launches season 2 of OnUp Innovators on Youtube.

In 2018, OnUp Media, powered by the Philadelphia-based mentoring nonprofit, Uncommon Individual Foundation, featured 18 entrepreneurs, community leaders, and changemakers through its documentary-style video series.

OnUp Innovators returns for a second season on March 11, 2020 to the OnUp YouTube channel, where you can also find ShopTalk—a series highlighting small businesses on the Main Line. New episodes that spotlight mentoring and entrepreneurship in the Philadelphia area will drop every week through Apr. 13, 2020.

First up, you’ll meet Nancy Volpe Beringer—a Philadelphia native and Drexel University alumna that made a name for herself in the world of fashion. You may have seen her as a finalist on Project Runway or on the red carpet. OnUp Media is telling Nancy’s full story, including her experience with adult bullying, that ultimately led to her success.

Allevi 3D, the home of the first desktop bioprinter, is next in line. Ricky Solorzano recounts the journey from struggling UPenn student living in a tiny apartment above a campus bar to becoming CEO of his own company.

Learn how Deborah Diamond founded CampusPhilly as the happy crossroads of her two passions: teaching and Philadelphia.

Explore the art of flower arranging from “It’sByU” and a pun-filled episode of beer pouring at Evil Genius Brewery. The series wraps up with a feature on John Graves, a producer in Philadelphia with a mission to educate audiences on diverse themes.

OnUp Media is eager to share the stories of these incredible individuals and the mentors who inspired them to make a difference in their respective fields. Keep an eye out onFacebookTwitter, and Instagram for teasers and full video interviews.
