City cyclers, here's some good news – Philadelphia has been ranked one of the best places to ride a bike.

The City of Brotherly Love snagged the No. 2 spot on a "Best Cities for Biking" list, released by ValuePenguin, a personal finance and research company,.
The list was made up of 200 cities ranked by using 16 different data points broken up into four different categories, including roads and trails, riders and bicycles and safety and weather. Data was taken from sources like The Trust for Public Land, the U.S. Department of Transportation and the U.S. Census Bureau.
Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington took the list's No. 1 ranking.

1. Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington
2. Philadelphia-Camden-Wilmington
3. New York-Newark-Jersey City
4. Boise City
5. Salt Lake City
6. Gainesville
7. Trenton
8. Provo-Orem, Utah
9. Lincoln, Nevada
10. Savannah
Big West Coast biking cities, like Portland-Vancouver-Hillsboro, came in at No. 22 while Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue fell at No. 31.
In addition to getting the No. 2 overall spot, the Philadelpha-Camden-Wilmington area was also ranked the fifth best city for park access.
It seems that the good news is already out. A recent report by the Center City District/Central Philadelphia Development Corporation said that since 2010, the average number of bike commuters jumped by 79 percent and 22 percent from 2014.
