Sixers' Joel Embiid trolled by 'The Goldbergs' actor Jeff Garlin after Clippers game

Sixers big man Joel Embiid got a taste of his own medicine Monday night after the Sixers defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 119-114.

Philadelphia'a long road trip continued at the Staples Center, where Embiid had a strong showing despite a frustrating collision with teammate Ben Simmons. Considering last year's disastrous run-in with Markelle Fultz, Embiid has good reason to be annoyed that his own teammates are an injury threat.

After the game, probably exhausted and eager to get his press duties out of the way, Embiid fielded a strange question from one of the reporters gathered around him.

"Hey Joel, Jeff Garlin, 'Pirates of the Caribbean Magazine," said the actual Jeff Garlin, star of ABC's "The Goldbergs" and HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm." "Which is your favorite 'Pirates of the Caribbean' movie?"

"Huh?" Embiid said.

As a matter of fact, there is a "Pirates of The Caribbean" magazine. There is no way in hell Jeff Garlin writes for it.

When Embiid finally shrugs the question off, Garlin bursts out in laughter, lowers his cell phone and walks away. The rest of the reporters laugh. Embiid's confusion continues.

For a guy who feasts on social media antics, you'd think Embiid might have his blind side covered. Apparently not.

The Sixers have one more West Coast game Wednesday night against the Phoenix Suns before heading home for a Saturday night game against the Dallas Mavericks at the Wells Fargo Center.
