It's spring and, luckily for hungry residents, local communities are setting up their annual food festivals. Phoenixville is doing double duty, hosting a Food Truck Festival on Saturday, May 2 to kick off its annual Restaurant Week running Sunday, May 3 through Thursday, May 7.

The Food Truck Festival will feature over two dozen food trucks and vendors, with some craft vendors too, lining up along Bridge Street in the Downtown area of Phoenixville. Over 7,000 people are expected to join the crowd at the event, which will feature plenty of seating and live entertainment.

Local favorites like The Cow and the Curd, The Happy Pita, Sum Pig Food Truck and Mompops will be there. Entrance to the festival is free to the public.

Restaurant Week will be dinner-only this year, with prix-fixe menus at $10, $25 and $35 options. The list of participating restaurants is still under construction, but will be updated on the restaurant week website once complete.
