Phoenixville's Bluebird Distilling will open a tasting room and retail shop at the Shops at Liberty Place on Friday, June 23.

On the opening date, from noon to 7 p.m., the new brick and mortar space will offer complimentary whiskey and craft spirit tastings.

After the opening, three-spirit tastings will be $5 and six-spirit tastings will be $8. If you like the booze and end up buying a bottle, your tasting will be reimbursed.

The store will sell Bluebird's complete range of craft spirits. Guests will also be able to sample limited-release products, such as the distillery’s newest spirit – the Single Malt.

The new tasting room is opening around the same time as Bluebird Distilling's second anniversary party, which will take place at the distillery in Phoenixville (100 Bridge St.) on Sunday, June 25.

From noon to 6 p.m., there will be an outdoor rum bar, speciality craft cocktails, complimentary tastings, food trucks, outdoor games and giveaways.
