Museum to host Holi celebration for families

Take part in the 'festival of colors'

The Please Touch Museum will host a family-friendly Holi celebration on March 18-19.

Holi is a spring festival, mainly celebrated in India and Nepal, that is also known as the "festival of colors." One festival tradition is for participants to throw colored powders at each other.

At the Philly museum, children will have an opportunity to enjoy the festive activity.

There will also be demonstrations by artists creating Indian artwork, arts & crafts, Indian music, dance performances and a chance to learn more about Holi during story time.

The festivities will take place all day and are free with museum admission.
