Police: Three men shot, robbed man in North Philly

Suspects allegedly forced their way into home and took man's wallett

A man was shot and robbed at a North Philadelphia house Friday, according to police. 

The incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. when police responded to a robbery on the 900 block of West York Street.

Police say when they arrived, a male victim was found with a gunshot wound to his lower left leg. 

The man told authorities that three men shot him and took his wallet containing money in a second-floor bedroom of the home. 

According to witnesses, a black Lincoln car pulled up to the home at the time of the incident. 

Police say that three men wearing black masks forced their way into the rooming house and pulled out guns before conducting the crime, fleeing in the vehicle following the incident.
