Police: Dispute on road leads to shooting in Kensington

Police are searching for a driver who opened fire following a dispute on the road in the Kensington section of Philadelphia.

The incident occurred Sunday around 10:20 p.m. near the intersection of East Lehigh Avenue and Front Street.

According to authorities, a 23-year-old woman was driving on East Lehigh Avenue with a 42-year-old man in the car. The couple encountered a man in a car that was occupying two lanes and blocking the road. The woman turned onto Front Street when the suspect began to follow. The man and the suspect had a verbal altercation. During the argument, the suspect displayed a firearm, fired twice and struck the vehicle twice before fleeing the area.

The suspect is described as a black or Hispanic man between the ages of 35 and 45 with glasses.

The suspect's vehicle is described as a blue Dodge Challenger with chrome rims and a light blue racing stripe on the hood.
