Philadelphia police are investigating after a man was found dead late Wednesday morning at his home in Port Richmond.
According to authorities, the unidentified 45-year-old white male was discovered unresponsive by his roommates at their residence on the 3200 block of Memphis Street.
Investigators said the victim had bruises on his face and stomach.
The scene was held and a weapon was recovered at the home.
Police have described the death as suspicious in nature.
