Missing Camden County girl, 16, found safe

Riley Romano, 16, was last seen by her family at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday at her Washington Avenue home in Berlin Township. She is believed to have run away from home early Monday morning. Police are seeking the public's assistance in locating her.

A South Jersey teenager who had been reported missing has been found safe, according to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office.

Authorities announced around 11 p.m. Monday that Riley Romano, 16, has been located in Ocean City, New Jersey.

Before being found, Riley was last seen by her family at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday at her Washington Avenue home in Berlin Township. 

She was believed to have run away from home early Monday morning and was reported missing by a family member.
